Sunny is the owner of Nacho Average Dog Health Coach where she offers personalized 1:1 health consultations, group programs and online courses for dog parents providing tailored nutrition, natural remedies and lifestyle adjustments to enhance their dog’s health and vitality.

Sunny is a Certified Pet Health Coach through Dr Ruth Roberts and a Certified Professional Canine Nutritionist. She is also a Certified Animal Reiki practitioner of the Let Animals Lead Method and currently in training to become a canine herbalist. In her practice Sunny is passionate about teaching pet parents how to cook complete and balanced meals for their pets, and supporting animals have received the unfortunate diagnosis of cancer.

Sunny was called to change careers moving from the food and wine industry to the pet industry after the devastating loss of her mastiff, Nacho, who passed away due to complications from hemangiosarcoma. Her commitment to help as many dogs as she possibly can, drives her mission to provide pet parents with as much support and options as possible for helping their fur babies in challenging situations.

Through holistic modalities and energy work such as Reiki, sound healing and meditation she believes in fostering a true connection with each individual dog and their unique needs, getting to the root cause of health challenges, and not just treating symptoms.

Sunny recently co-created Compassionate Paws: Pet Grief Support Circle together with fellow holistic pet health coach Melissa Sherman. This is an online Facebook group which serves as a sacred circle dedicated to those who are grieving the loss of a beloved animal companion. Their purpose is to provide a safe, supportive space where members can share their stories, honor their pets, and find comfort and healing through the support of a compassionate community.

Sunny lives in New York with her husband and her baby daughter, an 8-year old Cane Corso named Tofu.
